New front wishbones
Discussion
Hi,
I wasn't happy with the Sheffield manufactured wishbones supplied via Powers. Lots of chips and cracks on the powder coating, weld splatter and in my opinion lack of weld pen. Return and refund went smoothly. The front wishbones supplied by SC Power were what I was looking for but were painted and not powder coated. I used an additional POR15 layer on top.
I had similar issues with the rears but ended up preserving the chipped powder coat with a good quality white paint.

How wide can you go, I'm running 225's now, not sure it needs wider on the front
Erm.........I'm experimenting.......
Mine are not curved like Richards so my specialist put 2mm rack stops to stop rubbing on 16" spiders, 225/50.

Get them supplied not powder coated. Then you can have them hot zinc sprayed (metallised)
http://www.nspcoatings.co.uk/hot-zinc-spraying.php
Then you can have them painted over the zinc coating. They are then guaranteed never to rust. Ever.

This is the way to go because if you don't they will be rusting away in no time if you actually use the car for anything other than bone dry runs on stone free roads. http://www.nspcoatings.co.uk/hot-zinc-spraying.php

Where were these from? Much better idea having a threaded camber adjustment than the standard clamp in slot arrangement!

Richard Thorpe (RT Racing) for standard or Grantura Engineering (aka Readman Racing) for upgraded tubular. I'm sure SC Powers are also ok.
The quality of Richards wishbones looks great to me, it will be interesting to see whether they fare better than the originals on my Cerb. Any thoughts on the Chim wishbone vs Cerb drag strut design? The deformation is similar both sides, and I haven't hit anything!
