Heading off to France in the Griff next week for the first time. Might be a dumb question, but how to fit headlamp deflectors to a Griff? Surely not remove the covers and stick to the actual light? Or just not bother?
Thanks in advance.

Don't bother - the Griff headlamps are so bad you won't be dazzling anyone!

If you're worried about getting stopped by the gendarmes, you could always stick some deflectors on the main beam lights.

I had the same question when I got my Griff a few months ago. Consensus on PHs seems to be don't worry about it - nobody on here said they'd been knicked for it.
I spoke to my dealer and they didn't have a simple fix, so I took a chance, have been to France twice in it and had no problems.

I also live in South of France (Monaco) and recently registered our Griff here to maintain legal insurance. It had a "Controle Technique" - French equivalent of MOT. I was concerned about the dipped lights direction as its an item in the test, and thought I could be in for expensive mods. No problem, it seems, says my local TVR dealer - passed without any mods at all, so the lights are probably not a problem.

Previously I had the car here on UK plates for a year but was never stopped or questioned about the lights.

'Surely not remove the covers and stick to the actual light'

If you find a way to do this (in under half a day) we'd all like to know!

My advice....as long as you don't indicate, always use the incorrect lane whilst traversing roundabouts, overtake at traffic lights

what's wrong with that? It's all about keeping traffic running
