Someone got a real bargain there, really hope buyers don't start to think of this as the norm though!!!
I think that seller must have been desperate for a sale and so was willing to take any offer. Anyone know what he actually advertised for? Bit like that 2001 Speed 6 Cerb that sold for 11k a few months back.

It was listed for sale at £9,000 5 days ago, that was the advertised price.. for all we know, with a bit of haggling the actual buyer may well have paid a bit less than that !

I don't get it though... even at £12k it would have looked well priced. 10.5-11k for a quick sale and I reckon it would have still sold very quickly.

Hmm… does seem a bit too cheap to me… makes me wonder what is wrong with it… then again, that could just be my suspicious mind.

I looked at plenty of cheap "priced to sell" cars, and all need substantial work to be done to bring them up to scratch… that doesn't mean that this isn't a good 'un though...

Very few genuine bargains in the motor game these days, 20 years ago, maybe.
Hopefully whoever bought it knows why it was cheap and if they didn't, they soon will

That does not tell you anything, that car could have been floating on the River Thames three months ago the day after the insurance ran out.

Still, the good news is it probably floated no problem and looked cool

My main concern with only a few weeks mot left would be whether a problem with the chassis condition was noticed in the previous year, as I have seen a couple of complete rust buckets which looked showroom from above. Any other mechanical problem could be sorted out but a chassis beyond repair could make even the cheapest car a bad buy.
