Replacing fuel lines
Discussion
Did mine a while ago - here's what I had to say at the time........"have to say it was a fiddly job with space very constricted but have a few tips to help should anyone else attempt this. First of all I took the plenum off since to get to the feed line down behind the engine this is the only way I could access. Use stub screw driver and small 1/4" ratchet socket on the clips.
The fiddliest bit was putting the new pipes back on. Used washing up liquid to get pipes onto the copper ends but also reamed the rubber ends first with a countersink so that they were angled rather than square and easier to push on. The hardest part was trying to tighten the clips. The trick here is to use new clips laced with WD40 so you can do them up with your fingers (with rubber gloves on for more purchase) and then you can tighten by hand sufficiently such that they grip the pipe and you can then get a tool onto the screw end in order to get them nice and tight - due to tight space I was getting just one ratchet click at a time so this took quite a while! - did it in the end though..."
Hope this is some help...
