Whilst waiting to install my oil temperature gauge I decided to add a little bling

I have four aluminium rings to finish it off but I'm not sure it needs them

Taking pulse feed and power directly off the rev counter wiring to make life really easy

I had to modify the unit a little to get it to fit in the tight space

I wasn't expecting to find a circuit board in the way but that was easily modified with extension leads so that the circuit board could be moved out of the way

Now to cut a hole for the oil temperature gauge

I like your stalks Bob. What make are they?

When I cut a hole in my dashboard for the AFR gauge, I used a typical plumbers hole saw with a cordless drill and drilled in situ which worked perfectly well.

The stalks were on the car when I bought it in 2002, they are an early version of the Leven units

Nicer than the more modern version in my opinion.
