Does anyone know where Alun is? Sent him a text a couple of hours ago, no response. Is his phone working?

Hi Anthony
Just looked at my phone for the first time in two days, it's just how I roll biggrin

That's a very impressive text. I'll bell you. thumbup

Yes sadly is true, I set a world record yesterday....... backwards, I swear I hit the geezer, thud. fking hell!

There's people watching I'm nervous, burn outs fluster me hehe then crept forwards so had to reverse, then forwards then reverse again,,, by now i'm a wreck of nerves and p1ss,,,,,,

I now am the owner of a swallen nose,,, and a stiff neck.
Funniest thing ever really. Truth is I reacted fast and travelled a freaking yard backwards before stopping but feck Did Mac laugh,,,,,, all night laugh
wkers the lot of ya biglaugh

I dunno about anyone else but that did me a lot of good, not travelling backwards but that's a really good weekend with such good blokes, and ladies should I say smile what a laugh.

Jackson, you swine biglaugh

I have to apologise as I cant remember Steve's friends name but later sat evening a good friend of his a lady who takes pictures for Bloody American hotrod mags took me apart, I fell in love with her hahah, she was a great laugh and her jibes hurt more than the lads biggrin
Great evening for many good reasons.
I've agreed with Mac and Neal if we do it again we'll bring some musical instruments,,, mainly a really tall drum stage hehe a few amps and lovely guitars and play some good tunes and it WILL be fantastic fun. We're gonna rip it up boys I can feel it.
Thanks Mac and all for being in such good spirits.
Thanks Anthony and Graham you missed a great time even if some of it was at my expense, luckily I worked many years with hairy arsed builders once apon a time and I learnt to laugh at myself as much as anyone else,,, good job eh.

You can't give it if you can't take it..
my little 4.6 with skinny long trumpets did ok until the very end really when Bhp falls away and that's really ok with me as it's as the spec suggests.

Yours Anthony will be a rocket. It is dangerous as you can get sideways and into the barrier so very thrilling really.
It's totally addictive just simply trying to get the perfect run, and as all racers know there's no such thing, you can always improve and towards the end my confidence finally started to rise as I actually got my head in gear,,,, !!!! These jokes went on for hours last night, and I laughed very much, I'll never live it down, but my car saved me today my good Tvr friends.
The times are important there's no question but it's being in the que with all the lads, people who could have gone home staying on and watching, it really spurs you on. I can't thank Derek enough for letting me use his best tyre's.

Barry's car is just a bit brilliant really. It sounds effortless and smooth as silk, stand near the wall about 200 yards up the road, it's shifting like muck off a stick, really good driving aswell. I'm liking the sound of Turbo cars more and more. WTF biggrin

Your the nuts you are mate hehe hilarious. My sides are aching now man, pack it in biglaugh
Yeah there's a 12 in there all day thumbup

I've got to stop temping fate but my diff feels sound, no different than before we started.
Drive shafts can handle 300 Bhp all day I reckon. You won't regret a new diff, knowing what I know now I should have done it a month after buying the car 5 years ago.
Cars so much better to drive day to day and both wheels clamp up quicker when you get wheelspin so less likely to get sideways IMHO.

I've decided it's a dispensable commodity in a way. Err I want it to last years but it's not a big deal and not very expensive considering how strong they have to be and the good job a new one does. New car feel is the only way to describe it. It's now loosened up that inch but is essentially taught to gearbox so gives confidence in all conditions, really maskes the final bit of looseness.
I'd like to tighten up the pre loads a bit. Ring Matt Smith if you'd like some pointers. Might be worth nipping it up a bit so once it's naturally loosened and settled it's perfect!
The standard pre load is a bit low for longevity but not with our power it isn't! Over time it's worse I reckon.
It's worth thinking about and Matt knows as good as anyone about how to set up a really fast car incl Dif.
