Help please, photoshoppers.
Discussion
I bought some black wheels a few months ago when I thought I was going to paint my car yellow. No need to comment on the style - they fit, are perfect and newly repainted, and we're £120 on EBay from a geezer in my own village.
Since then I have painted the car an entirely different colour. It looks turquoise straight on, purple from an angle. Could some kind photoshop expert please show me what the car will look like on these wheels, before I go and put my next set of road tyres on them? Many thanks

Thanks very very much, You have done a nice job of it.
It's tricky, because of course I photographed the wheel with it flat on the ground, so got the reflection of the sky as it is gloss.
However, do I like them if I imagine them a bit blacker?
I think I do, because they are always going to reflect some light, being curved rather then flat, and glossy.
I will go ahead, ignore the wife's opinion, and fit the new road tyres to them for our trip to Scotland.

Anthony they are so similar to the ones you have already?

Someone's been on the jungle juice already.....but I like the kind thoughts. It is highly tempting to turn up at the TVRCC track day in September with teddy bear wheels on the car in a lurid colour....Appeals to my childish sense of humour
If anyone can photoshop a set of totally black multi spoke wheels onto my car I would be very interested.....

They are gloss black, lacquered, but I have got the reflection of the sky in them.
I will have another go at photographing them once there is less light.
If they do reflect light then it will be good, as I do like the SP 12s, but want my road tyres on the black wheels if possible.
I have a third set, of Team Dynamics Monza Rs, but they are a very shiny silver and marked (I left two of them off the car and standing upright on the drive while I popped in for a pee. I can report that the grandchildren are still alive.....just) .
The black ones are unmarked

You went for paint in the end then Anthony?
You don't know how much that pleases me....and the guy who "painted" it. It is the latest version of Plastidip, called Full Dip I think, and it has a clear lacquer coat on top.
It is chemical solvent proof and can be polished. I am well chuffed with it.
Oh, and a quarter the price of paint, and I use the car a lot so no respray will survive with me for long intact.
Swerni, many many thanks, and for doing it twice. I like them, so the Rainsprout 3s will be going on next week ready for the TVRCC trip to the land of haggis, kilt and downpour at the beginning of June.
As for you other jokers......thanks also for the laughs. My only sadness is that i cannot find a set of 17 inch teddy bear wheels on Ebay.
A set of those on my car, sprayed in the same turquoise/purple as the car, for the next TVRCC track day (early September) would have been bliss.
As those who know me know, I have an unusually infantile/juvenile sense of humour for a 63 year old Chartered Accountant, and debunking anything stuffy is fair game for me.

A good shout then! You sound chuffed with the end result...certainly looks good in the pictures It is the latest version of Plastidip, called Full Dip I think, and it has a clear lacquer coat on top.

Not too keen on the giant blue rear spoiler.
It'll be the only one with no spoiler when it's off though hey! I get it back in about a week's time, so pray on my behalf for dry roads next weekend.
I might just be tempted to test out its BHP and torque without a change of underwear to hand....
