Hi folks, anyone have a good source for new wheel centre caps for the imolas? I got some off TVR Parts but they don't fit properly and stick out compared to the original M513s. Measuring them the Oz M513 is spot on 62mm where as the 'OEM quality' part from TVR has a diameter 62.3 mm and are a bit thicker. I tried to sand the edges of one down to 62 mm but because I think they are also a bit thicker they still don't fit well.

Strange, I bought 3 sets (1 for a mate) and they all fit fine.

Interesting, I need to phone them tomorrow as they havent replied to 2 emails sent over the past 10 days as I got a set and am not happy with the quality - several bits of the black paint are missing, small spots but still noticeable. Dont think they are as good as the original ones.

Sounds similar to mine, you can definitely tell which are OEM quality and which are from TVR Parts. I could accept the very minor difference in visual quality between the two if sanding it down to 62mm made it fit, but I didn't (might have to have another go tomorrow night). By way of example, see if you can guess which is which...

Might be worth getting in touch with Paul at PPC / Leven. I am sure he had wheel centres in stock at the open day I went to a few weeks ago. Knowing Paul a little bit, I doubt he would be happy with the raised profile of the picture above.

Well I fettled away this evening and I don't think there is any way that I'm going to get these to fit acceptably. I think they are fundamentally just too big, in diameter and thickness (noticeably so when you hold one against an OEM M513 centre cap).

I've contact TVR Parts to let them know and to request a refund. I've also contacted Leven to see what they have but would welcome any suggestions for possible solutions.

Clue: one sits perfectly flush with the rim, the other protudes some what such that I have my doubts how long it would stay in there when exposed to motorway speeds...
