Looking for a picture of wires behind dash beside radio.
Discussion
I am trying to put back together a chimaera for a friend. He replaced the dash a while ago now but didn't note the location of the nest of wires beside radio. I think it's for lights, hazards and all that. Would anybody by chance have a picture of these wires in place, that is of course as long as tvr used the same colours in each car. Otherwise it's going to be quite a tedious job to look forward to. Thanks in advance
I wish that image was bigger but - It looks like the vehicle has standard British colour coded wiring. I think it is standard British because at the left side where that loom exits in the direction of where the hazard switch is going to be I can see a green/red trace wire and a green/white trace wire and I know those are used for LH/RH indicators in which case this proves to be the hazard switch loom.
All you need do is take a look at a British Colour Codes Chart and all will be revealed for all those wires you need to terminate
Here is one of many around the net - http://www.primauto.net/file_schemi_aggiuntivi/bri...

If it was a big picture you can click the picture and then click the picture that shows for a big picture
No problem, with a little reading and tagging what you work out you should be able to narrow the unknowns down
Right I get ya. I had to resize the image to load it up. Must of went too small. 😄No problem, with a little reading and tagging what you work out you should be able to narrow the unknowns down
