She has arrived! New Chim in the family..
Discussion
Hi Folks,
Well, she has arrived and have spent the weekend admiring, polishing and of course most importantly - driving (some obligatory pics below). Have had more positive comments and conversations that any other car I've owned for a long while. Absolutely love it, and getting used to the visceral experience it delivers. My other car is a CLS SB, and the experiences of driving are such polar opposites, that I appreciate each of them for what they do so well.
All seems well with the Chim so far, though had to tweak the PS seat belt bolt as the seat belt wasn't budging. The drivers side belt pulls out OK, but then locks into position when I am driving which I need to sort as I feel very strapped in! I've removed one of the throttle springs which has had the desired effect. It is going to see Carl Baker for the new alarm and immobiliser at that feels the most obvious big thing which hasn't been done as it has had the chassis off refurb and lots of elements replaced.
Interesting within the extensive history file to see what it has been bought and sold for in the last few years, and it definitely confirms that prices are on the rise.
best,
Tom

Welcome to the fold, I was guessing SW London looking at the Surrey Stocks brickwork in the background.cheers
There's a Surrey TVRCC club that meets up near Cobham (at least it did, I haven't been for a long time) one evening per month. I also sometimes get a few local owners together for a TOSH (TVR's Over Surrey Hills) run on a Sunday a couple of times per year. We normally meet near Dorking and have a blat west and south on a circular route. I'll post something up later to see who's available in the next few weeks. I'm in Epsom Downs.

I would be interested in another Surrey run, avoiding cyclists of course! Speed 3 said:
