Suspension (again!!!)
Discussion
Sorry, another question!!!
My rear drivers side suspension seems to have gone a bit soft, going through dips in the road it quite often bottoms out and hits the top of the arch, it never used to!!!, Are these parts servicable??/able to
be adjusted? so I can stiffen it up again??
Or do I need to replace it?
Many thanks
Richard

I think the rear springs gradually sag with age - in fact at a recent event you'd have found me going along a line of Griffs measuring wheel-to-arch clearance with my hand...! Remarkable difference between cars.
I did the same with a set of new cars.... remarkable difference between the cars as well.

Can you just replace the springs then???
Cost?
cheers
Yeah, they range from about £20-25 each right up to £55-60 each for eibachs. I went for some £25 jobs from demon tweaks to make sure I am happy with the spring rates, then I'll get a set of eibach.
I don't know if standard cars come with coilovers or not though?

Same story as me , mine showed signs of sagging and then started to rub the wheel arches, So i replaced them with Gazzmatic Ride height adjustables shocks and springs, which come with a three year guarantee From Tower Race Services, the reason i bought Height adjustables as if they sag you can keep rising them up.
