Alright all,
As stated above, the racks got a leak, can new seals be fitted or is it a replacement rack job, positive cheap answers would be appreciated.

Thanks for that, I take it all racks are the same and they didn't change them at some point.

Sorry for the hijack.....Are these the ones that go in the end of the rack where the track rod comes out of?

If you have a read of the text on the TVR Parts link, they say these seals are for the later aluminium racks. Give them a call to confirm.

The headline says ALL aluminium racks and the text says Mk 11 aluminium racks.

I think that they mean it won't fit the Mk 1 rack which has a steel centre section..............

These guys will refurbish your rack and fit new seals as necessary.

They have been used by many TVR enthusiasts on here and have had very good reviews.

Just be aware, if there are any worn parts on your rack, spares are not available.

Cheers, I'll go have a bit dig about tomorrow and see what's down there, are there any serial numbers which indicates the type? The main thing that bothers me is the fact that alloy is softer and the bar may be worn so new seals may not stop the leak
