Indoor car cover
Discussion
Have you considered using body shop polythene masking? It comes on a roll of about 100m is light gauge and plenty wide enough to cover the car. As you have bird s**t to contend with you don't have to worry about washing the cover periodically, when it becomes too mucky just cut a new length off the roll and throw the old one in the bin. It's not hugely expensive

I would imagine you can get it in France from body shop motor factors as well.
