Battle scars...!!

Chasing a 210bhp Peugeot 205 I suffered the following damage when he put a couple of wheels on to the dirt into a fast righthand corner...!!

- Pebble dashed spoiler
- Broken n/s headlight
- Massive chip (from boulder) on bonnet and windscreen...!!

Are new headlight units avaialble from Dingbro etc..??

How do you protect against stone chips..??

Webbs (TVR Bodyshop) or similar can be a good bet for (used) headlight lenses.

Mine's got Armourfend on it. Looks a bit naff close too but seems to work. (It's even on the headlights)

Fairy nuff, When I first got my Chimeara I thought about getting the later style lights, the ones that look like the griff with plastic covers that follow the shape of the bodywork, because of the chance of smashing the lights...But I was put off by a thread on here saying that they are a PITA to fit (and a bit costly)

I think the answer is that you can't. I had a headlight go after only a week of ownership and so I did the same investiagtions. Replaced the lens at Racing green I think it was £35 + 1 Hours labour, but they said they very rarely have to change any.
I was more concerned about a stone through the radiator and that is why I am still looking at fitting mesh to protect mine.
Stone chip[s on the bodywork.....I think if someone could have found asolution to that they would be a hero on this forum and very rich.
