Clutch master cylinder to bulkhead block pipe
Discussion
Hi,
Just fitted a new clutch master cylinder, and in typical fashion, I now can't stop the union to the master cylinder from leaking. I don't know why; it's not cross threaded or loose or anything. So I'm going to try a new pipe.
What size fittings are on each end please, so I can get one made up to fit it next weekend.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks,
Yeah I've just gone ahead and bought that one. Was thinking I could go and get one made after work and get it done tonight rather than wait for a new one to arrive, because I need the car (daily driver) and it's leaking fluid from the union.
Has anyone else ever had trouble reusing copper lines? As I say, I did not cross thread it, it is the same fitting etc, but it just won't seal. I'm hoping it's just that the flare is a bit iffy -- become hard and won't seat on the new cylinder, or is maybe cracked or too squashed or something?? If I look down the female connection in the cylinder I can see where the flare has made contact, but the contact area does not go a full 360 degrees IYSWIM.

Part number Q0105 is from the master cylinder (7/16 UNF) to the block on the inner wing.
You need the pipe from the block to the slave cylinder. Part Q0104 which is out of stock.
Might be best to have someone remake your old pipe. You can reuse the old fittings M12x1mm male at the slave - don't know what the other end is, if not M12 will be 7/16th UNFx20 - with some new 1/4" Kunifer pipe. Kunifer is much stronger and resistant to corrosion much better than copper which is too soft IMO.

It is the master cylinder union that is weeping; Q0105 is the right pipe. Would have preferred to get one made so I can get it sorted tonight, but it'll wait until whenever the new one arrives now I have ordered it.
Ahh, sorry. That pipe is a tricky thing to remove and refit. Good luckLol. Tell me about it!!!! Already done it once.
TVR Parts called me to say they don't have one. Neither do Racetech TVR. I think I'm best getting one made.
So really do need to know the thread sizes of both ends. Master cylinder is 7/16ths unf. What TPI? What thread is the othet end? I think it is different as it didn't screw into the new cylinder.
