Cold air from RH dash vents when driving.

My Chimaera 97 has a problem, that there comes cold air from right hand side dash vents even if I switch the heater control to footwell, when the car is on move.
When I switch air up to windscreen and the heater is on, then I get hot air from the left side vents up to center and then it changes to cold.
I have tried to find the leak with an endoscope and with smoke generator, but I haven't found the source. This is very annoying as I cannot tape the vents as then there is misting problem and when they are open, then my face is freezing.
There is nothing wrong with the matrix as on left side and in footwell (and on top of gearbox (what a silly place to put vents))you can get very hot air indeed.
Has anybody else faced this problem and been able to find the reason?
