Ride height question

My 1993 4.0 litre is on std tyres & original 15" & 16" wheels. Can anyone confirm what the ride height should be & where it is measured from.

Before answering questions like this, I wonder if you can do anything about it. Have you got adjustable shocks?
Everybody seems to take measurements from the outriggers and numbers vary but 150-175 seem normal on the front and some say slightly higher on the back.
Its usually the front that causes the problems i.e. bottoming out, catching exhaust, bonnet not opening fully etc.
If your ride height is low and can't be adjusted causing the above problems I'd be thinking shocks and springs and then the fun starts because you can spend from £115 per corner plus fitting for Gaz or Avo right up to £275 for Nitrons, take your choice.

On the one i was working on today. On front with adjustable AVO's fitted the chassis measurement taken at the very front of the main chassis was
150mm nearside
155mm offside

Sorry only measured the front...

You would be surprised how much you can bring the backend down whilst still remaining practical, (and keeping your fillings!)
On my old one I fitted AVOs and with the right offset wheel had a rizla's worth of clearance between the top of the wheel and the lower rim of the arch.
Even under load there were no problems.
