Steering gaitor boot?

Have done a search,either theres not much on this topic or my spelling's up the sh1te.
I know the rack is built specific but surely the rubber gaitor boot is a standard item?
Does any one know please.

I had the same problem! I think Halford's used to sell universal kits that fitted, but not anymore. You should be able to buy replacements from any TVR Dealer - they are £17/pair.

Thanks for that but no TVR dealer here,I'm certain there not specific,I'll have to hunt around.

I got a universal kit from Halfords about 6 weeks ago, fitted a treat. Only £5.99!! Ask at the parts service desk.

I had no joy with a Halford's parts desk. They had a couple of QH gatiers but nothing that would fit. You can get the gaiters mail order from Peninsula for example. Most TVR dealers will courier for £5 next day.

Mine was a QH steering gator kit, fitted fine? its is a universal so you cut down the stepped ends to suit the rack and track rod ends.

Trust me the QH one will fit ok. The QH part number is QG1000.

I sourced a tapered gaitor that fitted better than the original made by a company called First Line. Part nr FSG 3235... if that helps
