wiper blades

bought some new bosch wiper blades from halfords, 16" for the off side, 17" for the near side... fitted ok but they stick straight out at the far sides... only contact the screen whne the sweep accross.... any ideas?

use the prescribed modification technique, best done by a specialist.

hold one end in one hand and one in the other and place a gentle curve in the blade.

They'll fit just fine with this technique.

Also use rainx repellant and use the windscreen washers less...

yep it works fine

Like most metals, just be gently and progressively assertive and they'll give fine - if i recall the very tip is in the bible, good enough for Mr Heath, good enough for the rest of us I guess...

You could also try the new wiper blade system that Leven have just developed.

You might also like to try using the power of your mind. I'd start by practising with spoons if I were you; might strain yourself otherwise.

I've fitted the new Leven wiper blades last week, took about 20-30 minutes including testing and adjustments, they are excellent and worth every penny.

Look good too.
