How is your mouse count this winter; only one in the garage and one in the shed, it seems a bit low this time, maybe they are chewing on the cars and not the bait.

Thanks , you just reminded me to set my traps. Usually use chocolate sauce but I've run out , so I thought I'd be seasonal and use Brandy Butter . I'll keep you informed how fat drunk mice I catch drunk

3 cats, so the 4.8 a day average has dropped recently to a 0.7 a day average. (As measured by the remains left in lounge method)

This method is notoriously unreliable; you need to add the number of uneaten Felix sachets to account for those that had been scoffed. wink

For me it’s been a bad autumn for mice. They have attacked more than one car, £200+ of damage in my Saab in just 8 weeks, stuff chewed in the boot of the TVR and a deconstructed conker on the driver’s floor mat, presumably done by a mouse that had watched Masterchef.

And on one visit to the stables over the road in October I removed 12 very live mice from the lidded horse feed container
