Anyone with SP12s on a Chimaera I could try out?
Discussion
Happy to - whereabouts do you live?
I am in east Notts, where the A1 and A46 cross. Also often working near Cambridge.
But do bear in mind that there are other factors that affect the ride apart from the appearance of the 17/18 inch SP12s, for example:
Ride comfort gained by fitting adjustable dampers
Tyres with softer or harder sidewalls
I have never felt that my car was a harsh ride on bigger wheels, but I adjust the suspension.
If you bring your car you can try my wheels on my car and on your car, so that you experience them on both suspension arrangements.
I have suitable low entry jacks and an impact gun for the nuts.

First.... nice wheels!
Secondly, thanks for the amazing offer. I'm West London so Cambridge is a nice day out.
Sometime early March would be great.

Fine - just contact me via email on my profile when you are ready. I am in that area twice a week, just off the M11 at junction 9/10. As long as I know when, I can be in the right car and have the wheel-change tools with me.Secondly, thanks for the amazing offer. I'm West London so Cambridge is a nice day out.

Anyone know if SP12s are still available new, and has anyone tried 18s all round?
ACT sell the SP12s. I have a set on order in silver, they have anthricite in stock. They look a lot better on a Griff tho.

Thanks. I'm struggling to find decent wheels in the 4 stud PCD these days. My old chim had spiders and I miss the look.
Can't recall the name of them. There was a thread on here about some wheel firm - like Lenso - who had a 'Spider' copy. 4-stud in 17 or 18.They make a 17” ‘spider’ in 4-stud but not an 18”.
Nuts but true.

Richmond / Kew - I have TD 1.2s which are practically the same wheel with some branding and about 3mm offset difference. Secondly, thanks for the amazing offer. I'm West London so Cambridge is a nice day out.

Car's in bits at the moment but should be back in business for the end of March. I hope it will be because I have a week with the family in Majorca ahead of Burghley, so I'm free ...
