Hi all.

My year 2000 car is need of set of brake discs and pads.
I researched this for my previous car but am questioning myself now as it was awhile ago.....

The fronts are obviously 260mm vented but there are 53mm and 58mm versions available and I'm unsure which height is correct and from what car they are from? An XR 4x4 I think?

The rears are 273mm vented and I believe are RS Cosworth Sierra?

Standard spec is fine, not looking to uprate anything at this stage.

Any help or part numbers for the discs and pads would be appreciated!

Many thanks, Chris

I went for pagid from eurocarparts. Front discs and pads for Sierra 2.8 1998 - fitted my 1997 400 with 260mm discs. Part numbers -

Still to run / bed in properly but first impressions good. Cost about £55 after discount code.

Cheers

If it’s possible to remove your existing front disc, you can then measure what offset disc you have.
Mtec have a good site that gives all the sizes you need with which standard car had them fitted so you can jot the details down for future reference

Good chance your 2000 car will have the flatter 53mm discs.

Easy enough to slip a wheel off and check, two distances marked in red should add up to 53 or 58.............
