What can I expect to pay for for a late model Chim. 1999/2000, used as a second car with around 1.5k miles per annum (older guy with no accidents). Been quoted a ludicrous £1K wheras a wedge comes in at around only £285 as told this an older model but not strictly a classic

I pay £600 with Norwich Union Direct for 5000 miles per year second car. This covers the misses and me in a '98 500 Chim. Both with no claims and clean license and this is our first “sports car” for a good few years.

You want slapping for saying that! Get out there and use it more. It will last longer and cost you less in upkeep if you do.

If its any consolation, I paid more than double that last year, but expect it to come down drastically this year now I am over 30 (and test quotes I have done so far reflect this, at least a £500 saving).

15,000 miles pa, class 1 business use, main car (daily use) protected NCD.

Hi, I am £570 with 4 Years No claims, I was 25 when I started the policy, so at the end of the policy in August I hope it is going to go down older and full 5 years NCD.
This is for a 1994 4.0 Chimaera, parked in driveway. Shop around though. I tried to get cheaper but instead other companies were either over 1K and some wouldnt even insure me. So i would make a direct line to checking out some quotes.

I pay £279 for 3000 miles with ClassicLine on 01455 639000. They take no notice of no claims I believe.
I am 50ish though.

Give Privilege a call. I'm 26 with 4 years NCB and pay c.£900 on an unlimited mileage policy.
