You now have a Btr diff.
What drive shafts did you use.
Your originals or different ones?

If your originals fits then they must be the same length!

Look up the dimensions of the two diffs if your not sure.

What there now too short ,,,

If they were you’d have ripped them out at Shakey and sprayed my car with bearings biggrin

Just get the ones for later BTR Dif cars and they will fit a peach.
Get the gators with the metal surrounds and a tool to do the clips up tight and jobs a good one.

All the parts you need are on TVR Parts. Only one length driveshaft according to them. They do originals and uprated ones.

https://tvr-parts.com/tvr-parts/by-model/chimaera?...

If you want uprated CV joints then Prolinx do them.

http://www.prolinx.biz/pages/Products/ViewCategory...

I fitted the 108mm/28mm spline heavy duty at £69.95+vat each but you can get race ones from £119.95 up to £230.95.

You will also need some CV joint grease - this usually comes with the rubber gaiters in the box in a silver packet.

And just remove the two bolts that hold the hub to the lower wishbone to swing it up and out to allow you to pull the shaft out
Disconnect the cv at the diff end first then at the wheel end by turning the wheel and undoing one of the six bolts at a time from directly underneath so 6 o clock from centre of hub. It’s the only decent place to get your socket on.

Dirty bloody job but well worth it by the look of Peters last week.

I reused the 'plates' but if you want it all to look nice and new then you can. I reused the bolts but again it is a personal choice.

Yes they do.
Why do you think you need them.
I understand the smaller cv thing now. Earlier ones are 10 mm smaller.

New shafts cv’s and gators, sexy if you ask me hehe

Your the one buying them biggrin

Steve D gave a great explanation about the difference and the older ones have the extra circlip groove which is where Jacko’s snapped st Shskey trying to catch me biglaugh

Actually I was watching him come to think about it, nasty crunch frown
