convert a right hand drive, to a left hand drive??

I am wondering if anyone has ever tried to convert a right hand drive Chimeara to left hand drive?
For me living in The Netherlands the price difference is huge compared to the UK, so it might be worth doing so!
Should be possible!

it must be possible as the factory did them so parts should be available...


quite a lot of work though i'd have thought

new dash top, s/rack move pedals, move battery. the throttle body ect is on the other side, heater ?

move the engine bay wiring around etc etc

You can do it in seconds with Adobe Photoshop!

Speak to MADS TVR. They used to have a specialist for doing this. IIRC it was around GBP5000.

Also talk to AndyMalpass on the TVRCC site (you'll need to join the club for that). He's in the process of getting his Griff converted to LHD.

When the search is working again have a hint on this topic as there was a thread about it a couple of months ago. From memory the outcome was that it was going to be cheaper to sell the RHD chim and buy a better spec/newer one in LHD, than fork out on the conversion.
