Just fitted new bonnet catch and cable on my rebuild but wish to know how the cable should be set proper, if anyone can offer some guidance it would be greatly appreciated.

I could try and explain but will be easier if I take a picture when I get into the workshop in the morning (after the dentist).

Just checked and that looks OK.
Only thing I would do is move the loop of cable over towards the bulkhead for neatness.

Any tips for adjusting the bonnet catch?
I removed mine for cleaning and i cant seem to get the adjustment right on the release lever.
Far too much pulling required to release it.

Being a bit of a pessimist when it comes to TVR reliability I fitted this emergency release. The other end dangles down next to the bellhousing.

I have also fitted a second release cable for the boot lid, It took 15 minutes to rig it up. No details on here though!

Having been caught with a non opening boot lid I did manage to open it eventually using brute force and fortunately no damage was done to the lid but a worrying situation that could have proved expensive.
