Alternative radiators?

I understood the Chimaera rad is a modified old Range Rover unit. Mine has gone so I have been pricing up my options. It would be nice to fit one from Ebay for another car sold new for £30-60. Instead of paying significantly more for a recore, which is probably what I shall do. Just wondered if anyone had ever fitted any other car rad to a Chimaera?

I went full circle and just had mine re-cored after several failed replacements (faulty).

A decent re-core is worth the money IMO. knocked a couple of degrees off the temperature gauge. The original core is thicker than a lot of the replacement rads out there.
