Speedo overhaul

Folks,

I think I am going to lay the Chimaera up over winter, which will also allow me to sort a few jobs out.

One of them is to have the speedo serviced - it started not reading below 20-25 a year or so ago and adjusting the sender has not helped.

Does anyone know who I should send this to? I hear of Speedy Speedos but only in the context of glaciers.

Any viable alternatives out there?

Have a look inside, it’s not difficult to open up. I expect something is physically stopping the movement...
