Any recommendations for insurance?
Discussion
Have been with Footman James for several years but getting expensive now (renewal next week).
Classicline was more expensive still.
Adrian Flux was considerably cheaper and no need to join TVR Club for discount.
But we all live in different postcodes etc so can't really compare like for like.

Loads of replies to same Q on these forums.
Be careful with your choice.
Pal of mine's Chimaera was insured with a multi-car policy - brokers used Equity Red Star as underwriters.
When he had to claim for a no-fault incident occurring in a hotel car-park in Honfleur...and as a result he had video evidence from CCTV in car park, the underwriters were less than helpful.
I've been with Mannings for last 8 or so years. Underwriters are Amlin. They've been excellent when I had to claim.

^^^^^^^ this.
Brokers are brokers, it is who underwrites that is important. You can check Trustpilot and other review sites for some sort of guidance.
The underwriter is invariably ERS and despite some help from Tyre Tread (above) my 13 month old claim is still not resolved. Emails are ignored.
