Baffle removal sound....

The Chimaera search starts in the next month or so...and i'm thinking about modifying the exhaust system already. :-D

Has anyone got a wavfile/avi/mpeg or something of a chimaera with its baffles removed? I've found before and after Wavs of a JP system from ACT (and I like it!). I think that i'll only stick to a sports system or the removed baffles (lots cheaper!), rather than start ripping cats out etc. I'm not worried about track day noise limits either.

The obvious (and best) solution would be to come and listen to some in person, but time doesn't allow just yet.

Cheers Sharky, those are the sound bites I had found for the JP system and I think it sounds fantastic! Just looking to compare the baffle removal against that really.

Rod, I haven't got any sounds files for you, but what I can tell you is that my straight-through pipes (£120 from Austec) sound absolutely fanbloodytastic. Plenty of pops and bangs on the overrun too

Thanks folks...I think the baffles removed and straight through pipes may get the vote over the JP system as I haven't heard one bad word from anyone who's had it done.
