You only miss what you’ve got when it’s gone
POA ?
I pulled the cover off mine and spent the day re bolting up suspension and dropping it off the jacks, car was filthy, dust everywhere so cleaned it all up, almost wish I’d left it with cob webs as I eventually got round to firing it up, it’s been off the road since about May time and I’d almost forgot how good it was, brakes etc a bit rusty so took it for a spin after confirming fans come on etc, everything just works so well and yet I face letting it go. I was so sure until I drove it, now I just love it again. Damn things !

cheers bloke, that brings back some memories. Have to say it's a decent advert, wonder how much?A few years ago I’d look at this and be freaked out by the amount of stuff in there, basically because I didn’t understand or know what half of it was, since Qbee and a few others with Turbo I’ve kinda got my head around all these bits and now looking at this,,,,
That’s proper that is, heat shield around intake, foookin mega,
It looks like it all grew there, fits like a glove, you must have spent sooo much time routing and re routing until it looked this good.
Some brains went into this car. Passion too.
It’s the best of the best really.
My guess 40k
What’s that foam on the inner wing Mac, I might have asked you before but I just can’t fathom it

Aww shucks, thanks bloke. Glad someone likes it and yes, it took quite some time, but I built it once and built it right Foam? It was handy place to put polish A few years ago I’d look at this and be freaked out by the amount of stuff in there, basically because I didn’t understand or know what half of it was, since Qbee and a few others with Turbo I’ve kinda got my head around all these bits and now looking at this,,,,

What a fantastic Chimaera! I just love the attention to detail and quality of work which is obvious from the photos - would love to see it in person.
Please tell me that there is a build thread on here?
Crikey, thanks. There was an article in 'Sprint' (Nov' 14 issue 467) but that was before other mod's and upping the boost of which is what I had intended after a few miles going from 458hp to 573. The other mods for this were TKO 600 gearbox and McLeod twin plate clutch (I did a thread in 'major mods' about it some time back). Ceramic coatings, driveshafts, adjustable boost, positive crankcase ventilation, twin oil coolers, remote oil filter mount etc. Please tell me that there is a build thread on here?
Writing this brings back memories of the build and the drive, fook me it would take off from 100mph as if it were a standing start and still worry the back wheels! Epic. Should've kept it, but,,,,, times change. Glad 'some' on here appreciate the effort.
