Split chin/chins

Has anyone caught their chin or other part of face on the vertical alloy window trims whilst getting into the car? Did it on weekend and received 3 paper stiches for my troubles.. any advance on 3?

Crikey, I'll bet that hurt... a lot

When I bought mine, the dealer told me to always put my palm on top of the metal upright when getting in and out with the window down. I thought that was a bit OTT at the time, but is now sounding like sage advice.

Excuse me whilst i chuckle a little from reading of your plight.Although ive never caught any of my chins,i have caught my ear,more than once,and it smarted a little for sure!btw,no im not

I reckon the padding down the transmission tunnel is to protect your kidneys when you get it!

Thanks for you concern.. Knowing TVR it's probably a design feature to catch thieves... you get up in the morning and you've got a Chav impaled on your door

Sorry to hear of your problem.... When I got my car 2 years ago I looked at it and thought that could hurt and always watch myself and warn passengers.

Will make double-sure I warn them now.
