So today, in less than ideal wet conditions,I got to drive my first V8. Not just any V8 mind you, but a Chimaera 4.5 with the kindest permission of my good friend Dave.
Wow, just wow. I get it now I really do. I have a Caterham in my garage so I understand the lack of electronics and that directly connected feeling but that engine is just something else. I didn't stop laughing for 25 miles! Every gentle squeeze of the accelerator had me grinning like an idiot. I didn't want to stop, the noise is unbelievable. If only it would fit in my garage... Then again.... I wonder if the engine would fit in the 7?
Cheers Dave. I owe you one!

You are most welcome.
For a virgin you handled the moist conditions very well. But then you do have some skills driving

Shame about the rain, mud and Miss Daisy in the Cleo.
