S03- 15 inch availability

Looking for 2 15 inch S03`s, been told they cannot be obtained, supposedly no longer made.

Been offered Continentals z rating but not convinced.

As an alternative to the S03, anyone got any preferences

Toyo proxies. Got a set on my rears and they feel so much better than the SO3's, especially in the wet. Can't wait for my fronts to wear down so I can change them as well!

I'm in the same position. Tried a number of places and no 15" SO3s to be found. Only other recommended make seems to be the Toyo.

Have to say I'm not looking forward to it - I really like SO3s. As it is, I am wearing the outside edge heavily on track days with 1.75deg of camber so with the softer Toyo it will be even worse.

GSD2 are not available for the rear wheels though (GSD3 only). Perhaps that doesn't matter?

The Yoko's seem to be only V rated?

It's a pity your'e so far from London S27 as, two weeks ago, I got two new 255/55 15" SO3s supplied, fitted and balanced for £68 (ex vat) each!

Keep ringing around because they are available.
Failing that, try www.blackcircles.com and just get a Kwik Fit monkey to stick them on for a tenner once they're delivered.

Love the colour of your Chimaera btw - these cars are meant to stand out!

255 is quite wide for the front isn't it?

225 is quite wide for the front and would necessitate a 50 profile. I think he meant 205.

I've had loads of clients on my case ref the Bridgestone, I spoke to my Bridgestone rep about a month aga and he told me they have completely deleted the Griff/Chim sizes and they now reccomend the Toyo.

I can second this, I love mine.
