Dash switch query

Hi.
New to tvr’s and forums !
I have a chimaera and previous PH threads have been very helpful.
I have a white push switch left hand side of the stearing column ( identical lookingto boot release on opposite side however it is an on/off switch )
I have no idea what it is for,
Would be great if somebody could let me know .

Turns the dash lights on & off

Il double check there is power going to it, as currently it’s neither of the above

Factory wired the switch to turn off the dash lamps because they are too close to the line of vision so they can be annoying at night. Owners often rewire this switch for aftermarket mods such as fan override

ok great,
i have to take the dash out again so will work out what they're wired to ( if anything )

If it is dash lights then it will be wired white/red & red/white.
