Im currently changing my interior to black, does anyone have any black seats for sale? Has anyone fitted alternative seats apart from cerb/Tuscan ones? My current cream seats are tired and costly to retrim. tia

I believe that MX5 seats fit, and are readily available in various marks and finishes.
But I would want someone else to confirm that they fit.

I have also heard that TT seats fit.
But again, you need to see evidence.

Ditto Boxster seats.

Intatrim Odessey seats fit too - more than one PH member has them.

When you are looking for seats, remember that they need to have a fairly narrow base and be narrow at the shoulders.
They also need to sit you fairly low in the car.
Too many modern seats have way too much base, making them too high, and are designed for lardarses with Arnie's shoulders.

Mx5 seats from mk1 or mk2/2.5 fit. I have some in my Griffith currently but will go back to the TVR seats at some stage.

For the mx5 seats I would take some foam out of the base so that you sit low enough.

Boxster seats fit but I can't find the photos of them that I'm sure I saw.

A TVR S1 sold in Poole last week with Porsche 944 seats fitted. Others have fitted Chimaera seats into an S, ergo 944 seats in a Chimaera?

I have two in black with only one minor flaw (small tear in backing) that cant be seen unless reclined forward to access cubby storage, but no tears in the leather fronts or worn through bolsters etc ....
