Your a cruel master sir,,,,, hehe

What a car, my clutch is like a knife through butter bow
Forgot just how light and smoooth it is smile
I so love Rainsport tyres, grip and comfort.
Steering, gears, slick, Sooo much power it’s rapido, I drove as I did upgrades so it’s all percentages, leave it in a shed 6 months, jeeeee hell fire you don’t half notice the power, my brakes my lovely lovely gentle beautiful brakes biggrin
Diff, oh makes you go warm inside hehe tight , did my usual up hill turn off onto a tight road 3rd gear 800 revs through apex, smooth as ever with tonnes of grunt from even that low, shunt dream on,,,, unbelievable what Jason did,,,, and what I wanted all along, it’s a masterpiece.
It’s been sometime as you can probably tell biglaugh

It’s funny but I really don’t find my Griffith 500 that fast... it’s effortless during overtaking etc but time has caught up with the old girl I find. A modern 6 cylinder diesel doesn’t feel that much slower in the real world; which is completely irrelevant, of course.

I know I could accelerate at a similar level in a 4 door something or other but I’d forgot how having an engine re fresh then Ecu change has given it instant power and it spins up like a bike, the vibration etc, the sound, bloody awesome all the same smile

Like I say I find the gear changes and just the feel of the whole thing just seriously exceptional. My senses have been dumbed down by not driving it for ages, couldn’t hear a knock or vibration anywhere over the engine note yes
Found myself getting into the sweet spot for pops and bangs slowing down, what car is as exciting slowing down as speeding up, what a craic these things are.
They say a rest is as good as a change,,,,
But contrary to driving it things have corroded like my alternator etc, knackers!
Standing them is not great, creates work!
But by heck a first drive after months of forced exile doesn’t half hit home what you’ve got.
350ft of torque on a lane in 2019, im suprised it’s not banned already hehe

I worked out that de Catt it should be over 350 and nearer 360 ft lb torque,,,, 12.60 don’t come from nowhere hehe

When you go though tough times it’s nice to remind yourself of the good things you’ve achieved, I’m seriously proud of little Tvr as we all are, seriously proud,,, it sits so low for a start, it’s a total nutter car,,,, Its totally brilliant
Oh my speedo bulb has stopped working biggrin

Hi All

A couple of weeks ago during that wonderful summer weather my wife and I attended a driving experience day on the Saturday with AutoExotica
.
Drove on the road a Porsche GT3, Audi R8 Spyder (the full fat V10) and Aston Martin Vantage – had an instructor drive for the first few miles (complete nutter) before taking over and encouraged to go for it. Fantastic day, Fantastic Cars and People
.
On the Sunday took advantage of the Great weather and took the Chimaera out for a blast – and the thing is did not feel at all left wanting, in fact had a massive smile on my face just like the Saturday.

What kind of tool does that on the road, and as part of a business. Must have some special public liability insurance.

Is the company name spelt right? He may have meant this lot, who do experience days. On a track, I'd hope!

Nope. Would appear these cocks do operate on the road...

Need to send the above to the local constabulary so they can set up surveillance.

Here we go

Why is it that the worst is always thought, especially when driving something high powered.

I wish to add that no incident of bad driving was seen or experienced during the day (except on the private road into Donnington Park) - more bad driving, inappropriate speeding was observed on the 300 mile round trip to the event.

Sorry for the confusion but my reference to nutters should have read (complete car nuts) - it just shows how todays society is always looking for a negative to jump on, soon people will refuse to speak or write in fear of winding someone up

I'm afraid that day has already arrived, BM...the self-appointed Stasi thrive in this ludicrously PC climate.
Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the heads-up, I hope that they get loads of business from your mention.
I shall be leaving their home page casually open for Mrs TwinKam to notice... biglaugh

Great stuff. My mate races Mazda’s but won’t drive my Tvr for some reason,,,, he’s scared of it is all I can conclude biggrin
Or wants to buy it off me so will never admit just how good it is wink
I’ve driven the Mazda race car and I’d be scared if I was him too,,, hehe
Check out Car Chase Heroes if you want a full on race driver ran driving experience where going flat out is encouraged by experienced British championship winning race drivers who pass on the secrets in some iconic muscle cars. They even use the American transporter truck for drifting fun hehe
