Anyone know anything about Chim below for sale? Looks like a good car with low mileage but worth a check?

I don’t k ow the car or the owner but it has a massive history file, good looking chassis and obviously well looked after. If it the price and model you’re looking for I’d definitely get in touch with the owner.

Yeah all looks good! Currently have S2 and considering upgrade but not desperate. This just looked decent and given it’s clearly attended a few TVR shows thought I’d ask.

I don't know the car or owner either on this one. Looks like a nice enough Mk1 on the face of it. Certainly worth checking out. Is it local enough to go to view?

A quick search shows it has been up for sale from August 2018 so maybe a deal to be had if been for sale for a while:

I am currently thinking I might upgrade my Chimaera to a later T Car so mine might be for sale soon. I have an R129 SL500 that will be sold and I'll use the money from this to add to the Chimaera to get me all the way or close to a later T Car.

You are more than welcome to come and see it. I bought it from Ian @ Sportmotive last year. Lovely Amaranth with Speed 6 headlight conversion and later 1998/S so Mk2. New outriggers just done by Sportmotive before I bought it. Full service history all fully supported/documented.

I'm just outside Potters Bar, Herts if local. I have a lift in the garage so your more than welcome to view the underside or get it inspected anywhere.

WIll be a similar price I expect to the red car above.

The front grill is non standard and it has adjustable height shocks / springs (at the front, anyway, the adjuster rings are just about visible). Non standard steering wheel too (I have a wooden one too, which I like).

More importantly, it has the post 1996 facelift longer boot lip, and post 1998 rear afterburner lamp clusters and tilted number plate fitted, so it appears to have had a completely new rear end at some point. It may have been done to a very high standard but many future buyers would hear alarm bells about it so it would need careful inspection.

I would beg to differ at the claim that there won't be another one with such provine (sic.). My own has 23 yrs of receipts totalling well over £22k. There are other cars with MUCH more spent on them, especially those modified to run turbochargers.

May be a bit desperate if you're considering a Chimaera biggrin

Actually considering having both! How’s that for punishment! :-)
