Just got some new shiny bits from Billyard including new trim for the handbrake lever - obvious how to fit the new one but can't see how the old one comes off.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction as bling desire is driving me nuts.

The plastic outer grip should just pull off , the button unscrew a good pair of slip pliers or mole grips will do

Yep thanks, that did it - it did take a substantial amount of persuading but done now.

Just got to cut the stalks off now to fit the nice alloy jobs.

Clench everything and cut..... wink
I did and they fit fine and don't wobble.
The only thing that will ping your OCD until you get used to it is that you will now realise that the two stalks are not at the same angle as each other to the horizontal.
You don't see this with the black ones....

But they do look and feel nice.

That's today's job. Definitely OCD when it comes to symmetry so will have to seek counselling!

All now done - cutting stalks not too bad - measure twice!

Nice job! If the stalk position irritates your OCD, you can easily sort it......either drive permanently indicating left, or with the wipers constantly on intermittent. Simples confused
