Hello!

Tis the season... etc smile

Having a little paint refurbish done tomorrow, so have taken the hood off, to allow access... seems it's been done before and last time.. well, access wasn't allowed. wink

1st things -
I lost some nuts from the mid bits into toe boot - anybody done similar - anyway to retrieve ? Doubt they'll rattle anyway...
The strut bolts... erm - are they supposed to be static (mine seem to be) are are they supposed to be removable bolts ? I have left them where they are 'cos they didn't move...
The light... my carpet is pretty much glued tight - no way the matchbox sized connector was gonna pull through, so I just snipped and will re-pair later... Guides have said to pull through.. but nope for me.

2nd thing -
She looks Gorgeous without the hood, like a proper roadster. And the drive is so much less windy and nicer and ... man... I wish I could afford a solid roof or someway to have it like this when the top was down.... just so much nicer....

Lastly... The hood needs repairing... whilst it's off I plan to get to work on the carpets a bit... but can anybody recommend a hood repair place in Surrey (near Dorking) that can make it look nice again and patch / repair etc ? It's the usual - split in the plastic, though small and stitching over velcro...

Cheers all! Happy Hooning!

Your interior lights cable goes through the carpet and the glass fibre and the hole is only about 10mm so it is normal to remove the pins from the connector....but cutting them off works.
