It’s nearly a year since I drove my car other than with trade plates on frown

What are they like to drive is my question, I’m almost forgetting.

Is it as good as I remember, the sound, smell, vibrations,
Now the nice weather is hear it’s very tough not being in the old girl so hows people enjoying their Tiv’s .loved the Cadwell and Thrills in the hills stuff, it’s only when your having an enforced absence from this Tvr stuff do you realise how good it is.

I think I’ll appreciate my car more than ever when it’s eventually back on the road smile

I've had 3 Chimaera's and a Tuscan in the past but the last one was about ten years ago. So I've just bought myself another Chimaera a couple
of days ago and drove into work the other morning thinking Jesus what have I done? My other daily driver is a Range Rover Autobiography so the
difference was always going to be big. Initially it felt odd, Clunky, Old and quite nasty but as I got a bit more used to it and got the roof off on the way
home I really started to remember what I loved about them in the past. I also think my ten year older bones dont help and my knee is struggling with
the heavy clutch but looking forward to plenty of days out in the summer if we get one?

That looks ace with the colour combo lights and grill.
Glad your back, no two Tvr feel exactly the same to me. Mine is now very different to the car I bought nearly ten years ago. I’m older and a bit wiser so Rainsport 3 tyres and a few other things have transformed the ride into something very civilised.
It’s all down to what you or the previous owner wanted from the car in many cases.

Enjoy the summer when it arrives,,, tue 26th and 13th of August look promising laugh

Yep that's the one. It was local to me and in very good order for it's age. I'm such a wuss that my first job will be to add a servo to the clutch
to save my dodgy knee laugh

Nothing wrong with adding a servo, I know a few old blokes who have them,,,biggrin

Since getting a light clutch pedal myself I can confirm the old one was very heavy in comparison and those longer journeys are a joy now so it’s well worth it.

I can do you a kit of parts as I am about to remove mine as I don't need it any more........only a few months old.

I would definitely be interested in that as my knee is pretty bad and I don’t want it to put me off driving the car. A couple of pictures showing the installation would be very helpful too.
