I would like some extra volume but dont know how far to go, currently i have the standard system minus the pre cats, i have been hoping somehow to come across someone maybe with a Cherry bomb system as they seem highly rated, but i am a little cautious of just buying without hearing as they are not cheap and i wouldnt want to end up thinking i want more still, i quite like the straight through with no cats sound but feel maybe thats not very practical especially for the longer runs, so if you scored sound / volume on a scale and a standard system was a 1 and a straight through without cats was a 10 what would an ACT cherry bomb score?.or other systems / possibilities ?
If there is anyone anywhere near the Shrewsbury area that either has something for sale that would make a differance or something i can listen to it would be greatly appreciated

Cheapest option is to just sleeve your standard rear box, it keeps the car sounding nice just makes it louder.
TGA down the road in Wolves could do that for you.

And you'll need to be quick if you want to use Top Gear. He's packing it in next month; not enough owners are actually driving their TVRs enough to provide sufficient maintenance and / or repair work. frown

I was thinking that i could sleeve the exhaust but leaving the option to return to standard by fitting a sleeve over the standard internals, does anyone know the diameter of the pipes in the silencer?

I doubt you'd be able to that. To sleeve the internals of an exhaust box, you have to cut it open. Plus, they are usually not a straight pipe, often two perforated internal pipes overlapping.

To be honest, any competent garage with a welder will be able to sort you out.
