Anyone had this problem the petrol pump primes then nothing the engine doesn't turn over, it seemed to be intermittent problem but now seems to be permanent, I've changed the ignition switch and fitted a new starter motor could it be the immobiliser it will bump start. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
As the starter motor is not turning over and you have eliminated the motor itself and the ignition switch it has to be something between the two.
It could be the immobiliser but equally any one of the multiway plug/sockets in the circuit.
Have you tried a direct +ve connection to the starter motor solenoid, if it then turns over you have established it is the circuits between that are at fault.
I have a schematic of the immobiliser that could help, send me a mail for a copy.
Best of luck!
