Can anyone tell me if the power steering pump on a serp chimaera is specific or is it shared with range rovers of a similar vintage? Seems to be a variation in price between TVR parts suppliers and Land Rover parts suppliers if they are a common part.
To the best of my knowledge the pump is a standard Range Rover part. The price difference is probably caused by where it was sourced from, i.e, OEM or a Chinese copy.
Thanks for the replys, its got a ZF pump fitted currently, looks original but i can't quite make out the part number until i remove it, i'll try to replace like for like unless someone recommends a comparable quality replacement.
