As above, could someone tell me where this cable connects please?

Have been fitting new carpets over weekend - and highly enjoyable googling all the cable/wiring routing frown

I initially thoughts so - but the cable has been cut just below the fuse so I just wanted clarification but replacing and connecting.

There is only 1 nut holflding the fusebox in, id drop it out and see where it connects.
Thats if it looks to go behind there.

Yes that's the fuse board main fuse. If it's disconnected and your car still works then someone has bypassed it. I would assume it's redundant now

Thanks both.

I got the car as a project Bob, unfortunetly whoever dismantled it didnt spend the time taking things apart and just cut cables and pipes quickly.

The black lump is the 80amp fuse in the supply from battery to fusebox.
The supply from battery is likely a heavy red cable into the fuse.
Output from the fuse is (normally) a pair of brown, fairly heavy, wires crimped into one ring terminal. These go onto the back of the fusebox at terminal N.
