Were any Chims built with a 4.5 Pre-Serp or were they all Serp engines?

I ask as I have a non-original 4.5 Pre-Serp in my Griffith and I'm trying to determine if it might be a Chim 4.5 (4.6) transplant or something else?

It certainly looks like it from the drive belt.

You have the later manifolds and Y piece fitted from a serpentine , I'm sure they were never fitted to the pre-serps.

Theyre catted manifolds which must have been fitted to the pre serps from 1993 onwards.

My catted manifolds don’t have any lamda sensor holes though biggrin

Pre-serps also have a different front cover to the serps.
