Looking to replace the carpets with a wool set. Any recommendations in the Northampton area +/-30 miles for supply and fit?

Have looked at CentralTVR but don't fancy spending £1260.

Only way to save money is too fit yourself really as the price reflects the labour involved to do it

Go with the £1,250.00, it really is a bit of a pig of a job and if that is for wool carpet it's not that bad!

You get what you pay for.

Hi,

I have just had my Chimaera re-carpeted (and a new hood) by Guy Broom at West Country Trimmers. It was a bit of a drive down there from where I live, but well worth it and I added in a short holiday to Dartmoor National Park to make it worthwhile! He has done lots of Chimaeras and cuts every piece of carpet bespoke to your car, so its a perfect fit, i.e. he doesn't use a standard template or carpet set.

He has done a fantastic job, really nice guy, very helpful. He charged £550+VAT for standard nylon carpets and an extra £120 for wool carpets and that includes new mats.

That’s about £600 more than I paid, four years ago
