Taken the Clive Y piece off today - it has a bronze tinge all over - any tips on getting it back 'silver'?

Materials and technique tips would be most welcome

Thanks in advance
Phil.

Any metal polish such as Solvol Autosol, but it will turn back to a bronze colour after a couple of heat cycles

Here’s a second hand one I got from a great Tvr friend and just used Solvol to clean it up and remove a few stains. Came up like new smile

I use Autosol Bluing Remover, wonderful stuff. It wipes the tint off with very little effort. Just add some to a soft cloth and wipe it over the metal, it's that simple and that easy.

Expensive but definitely worth the money

It will return to the lovely bronze colour pretty much straight away, looks fabulous either way.
