Hi Folks,

New kid on the block...
had my 4.0 Chim for 10 days now and loving it.

I'm in Haywards Heath, W Sussex if anyone near fancies meeting up for a jar and an explaination of the ideosyncracies I'm discovering.

also I could do with a new 'under drivers seat' carpet as mine is rather musty and shredding slightly

Welcome mate!!!!!!!!!! If you have a musty carpet then check the seals around the brake fluid pot and hoses in the inner wing. You have a great coloured car. Take no notice of the people who slag off Rosso Pearl.

Hi Dave,

The car has had some pretty hardcore after market sealing done on the drivers side inner wing and it's dry by my feet...

the wet carpet is the section behind and under the drivers seat, so I've Thomson'ed the roof and all the stitching and bought a monsoon cover. After soaking up the excess moisture with silica gel type stuff... problem seems to be solved.

People suck their teeth over Rosso and yes it is abit faded, but still looks bloomin lovely.

Few pointers......

Button under dash by your left knee.
It does fit without bending.
They all do that.
Green ones really are the fastest.
