Hello guys,

while looking for a used TVR I've seen an advert of a Chimaera 500 with a fan override switch. What does this mean? Should I expect cooling problems of the car or why do you fit them?

Cheers, Fred

They are fitted as the time that the fan switch fails is usually when you are stuck in the middle lane of the motorway with artic lorries allround you and no where to get out of the car. Hit switch and the problem goes away. Also useful for starting the fan earlier.

If everything is perfect you don't need it, but it is just such good insurance.
